After a 3 year wait, the 2023 Gaborone Motor Show has come back, with a resounding success!
This year’s show has come and gone, and while we were busy doing fitments, and getting vehicles ready for delivery, our teams were in full force at the Gaborone Motor Show! With some eye catching vehicles on display, the show started Friday morning with the crowds getting bigger, and more excited as the hours passed by!
One of our main attractions this year was a fully kitted 79 Series Land Cruiser with all the comforts of home. The Opposite Lock flagship cruiser was kitted with an iKamper Skycamp 3.0 Roof Top Tent. Every element of its design has been improved. It even includes a king-size bed!
This roof top tent has you camping in ultra luxury! Also fitted to this cruiser is Tough Dog Suspension to get through all the back roads, and sandy tracks involved with overlanding our continent. Also included in this big build is a canopy, dual battery system and all the USB plugs you would need! Everything from camping tables, chairs, washing basins, and creature comforts of a modern kitchen were fitted.
A 150L water tank built in, as well as a 150L fuel tank to get you to those remote areas with out having to worry about fueling up! Inside the canopy is also plenty of storage space, with 2 massive storage boxes fitted. The storage boxes were filled with plates, cups, and all the cutlery you would need for a family of 4. This is truly an eye catching vehicle, that is also extremely capable offroad!
Another one of our flagship vehicles, was a fully kitted 200 Series, with a full house of Takla Seat covers on the inside, making this Land Cruisers seats comfortable, as well as protected from the sun! Also at the show, was the Tough Dog Jimny! This vehicle was the one that attracted the most attention! Have a look at the images! Last but not least, the Adventures Overland 4×4 Hilux, fitted with a Rhino 4×4 bar, massive Light Force Genesis spotlights, Tough Dog suspension, and many more accessories that are available with us at Hi Range Safari City!
